Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Lands on Game Pass October 29
Microsoft's October Wave 2 puts Midgar on the subscription on October 29 — the full Remake plus the Yuffie episode, on cloud, console and PC, and the Premium tier gets it too.
Midgar is coming to Game Pass. Microsoft announced its October Wave 2 lineup on Xbox Wire this week, and the headliner is Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, which joins the service on Thursday, October 29 for Game Pass Ultimate, Premium and PC Game Pass subscribers, across cloud, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
Intergrade is the complete first chapter of the remake trilogy: the full Final Fantasy VII Remake plus Episode Intermission, the Yuffie-led side story that bridges into Rebirth. If you've been holding off because the trilogy's finale is on the horizon, this is the catch-up window — the saga from its first reactor, for the price of a subscription you may already have.
Worth noting: Intergrade isn't locked behind the top tier. Premium subscribers get it too, which has been the pattern for most of this wave — five of the eight incoming titles, including both headliners, are in the mid-tier plan rather than Ultimate exclusives.
October 29 is a stacked day on the service all by itself. Psychological horror standout Mouthwashing arrives the same day, alongside Plants vs. Zombies: Replanted and the day-one launch of horror-parkour game Terrible Lizards. The rest of the wave fills in around it: day-one Scramble Knights Online on October 26, supernatural detective mystery The Séance of Blake Manor on October 27, and co-op horror Pit of Goblin closing the wave on November 3.
Just keep an eye on the other side of the ledger: nine games leave Game Pass on October 31, including Deep Rock Galactic and LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Plenty arriving, plenty leaving — plan your downloads accordingly.
Will you be starting Midgar for the first time on Game Pass, or is this a replay before the finale?
