Nine games leave Game Pass on October 15 — your backlog has a deadline
Microsoft's October Game Pass wave giveth — Battlefield 6, Valor Mortis, and seven day-one releases — and taketh away. Nine games leave the library on October 15:
- A Plague Tale: Requiem (Cloud, Console, PC)
- Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 (Cloud, Console, PC)
- Crime Scene Cleaner (Cloud, Console, PC)
- Donut County (Cloud, Console, PC)
- Evil West (Cloud, Console, PC)
- Nova Roma — Game Preview (PC)
- Pacific Drive (Cloud, Console, PC)
- Superball (Cloud, Console, PC)
- The Casting of Frank Stone (Cloud, Console, PC)
The headline departure is Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. It joined Game Pass as a day-one release in April 2025 and went on to win Game of the Year. If it has been sitting in your backlog with that smug "I'll get to it" energy, the clock is now real: finish it by October 15, or buy it — members get 20% off before it leaves.
A Plague Tale: Requiem is the other big loss, departing less than two months after Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy joined the service day one. Pacific Drive and Donut County round out the names most likely to be mid-playthrough in a lot of libraries right now.
Same-day arrivals on October 15 — Bluey's Happy Snaps and Chained Beasts — soften the blow, but the message is the same every month: the catalog rotates, and the games you meant to play don't wait.
